I’ll Let You Think About It

Two performers sit back to back on chairs, central in the performance space. Each has a pad of white paper and pens.

They each write on the pad something for the other to think about, beginning with ‘I am thinking about…’ then pass it to them to fulfil.

Each session of thoughtfulness lasts 2 minutes. There is a timer to be set between the two chairs.

After thinking the two performers remove the top sheet and drop it to the floor around them, to be seen as a record of their thought patterns.

The thoughts depend largely on the nature of the performers, their repartee, their playfulness, their cruelty and their current state of mind.
